Senior Full-Stack Engineer, onsite in Johar Town, Lahore: Hydrogen, Next.js and Node for headless Shopify storefronts.
You lead the builds that go beyond the theme: headless storefronts on Hydrogen or Next.js against the Storefront API, custom Shopify apps, and the integrations that connect a store to an ERP, a POS or a booking system. You own architecture decisions and review other engineers’ work.

Full-time · Engineering · reports to the founder.
The studio’s larger engagements are headless storefronts, custom apps and system integrations for US brands on Shopify Plus. This role is the senior engineer on those builds: you scope them with the founder, choose the architecture, write the parts that matter most, and set the standard the rest of the team builds to.
You will spend real time with clients’ technical teams — an ERP vendor, a data engineer, a brand’s in-house developer — so you need to be as comfortable explaining a decision as making it.
What you will do

Six things this role owns. The proportions shift with the projects; the standard does not.
Architect and build headless storefronts
Hydrogen and Remix, or Next.js, against the Storefront and Customer Account APIs; caching, edge deployment, image and font strategy.
Build custom Shopify apps
Embedded apps on the Admin API and App Bridge, webhooks, Functions, and the OAuth and billing plumbing around them.
Integrate systems
ERP, POS, booking and subscription platforms: sync jobs, retries, reconciliation and the monitoring that tells you when they fail.
Own performance
Sub-second LCP targets on real devices; you know where the time goes and how to get it back.
Review and mentor
Code review for the Shopify developers, pairing on hard problems, and the engineering standards document you help write.
Scope with the founder
Discovery, estimates and the written scope for larger builds — the number the client signs is partly your number.
What you bring

Five or more years of production full-stack work
TypeScript or JavaScript end to end, Node services, a modern React framework, and at least one system you designed and ran in production.
Shopify APIs in anger
Storefront and Admin GraphQL, webhooks, app development; Hydrogen or another headless commerce build you can show.
Data and integration sense
You have reconciled two systems that disagreed and can explain idempotency without looking it up.
Testing and operations
Automated tests where they pay, CI, logs and alerts you actually read, and a calm approach to incidents.
Clear written communication
Design notes, decision records and client-facing updates in plain English.
Nice to have: Remix or Next.js at scale · Cloudflare or Vercel edge experience · ERP integrations (NetSuite, SAP, Odoo) · contributions to open source.
