B2B commerce
Shopify B2B development agency in the USA, built the way wholesale buyers actually shop.
Custom pricing per company, locked catalogs by buyer group, net terms, draft orders, account hierarchies, and the wholesale-specific checkout logic that DTC brands don’t need but B2B brands can’t operate without.

What we actually build
Shopify’s native B2B (on Plus) is finally good enough for most wholesale use cases. Most agencies still build B2B with third-party apps because they don’t know Plus’s native B2B capabilities.
- 01
B2B company and account hierarchy setup
- 02
Custom pricing per company and buyer group
- 03
Locked catalogs
what each buyer can see and order
- 04
Net terms (Net 15, 30, 60) with payment terms enforcement
- 05
Draft orders and quote-to-cart workflow
- 06
B2B-specific checkout
purchase orders, invoicing, accepted payment methods
- 07
Wholesale-only product variants and pricing tiers
Dealer portal
A dealer portal on the Shopify you already have.
No migration and no replatform. We add a self-service ordering layer to the Shopify store you already run, so your retail customers stop ordering by phone, email or spreadsheet.
- 01
Dealer login for every store
each shop orders under its own login, grouped by company
- 02
Price lists, net terms and credit limits per company
every account sees its own prices and orders on its own terms
- 03
Quick order by SKU or EAN
type or paste codes, or upload a CSV, instead of browsing the catalogue
- 04
One-click reorder
repeat any past order from the order history
- 05
Case and pack quantities
orders round to the units you actually ship
- 06
Live stock and prices from your ERP
synced, so dealers only order what you can deliver
- 07
Orders straight into your ERP
no re-keying from emails and phone notes
What we build
Process
Native B2B on Shopify Plus goes in layer by layer: who buys, what they see and pay, how they check out, then the storefront they order from. We settle each layer with you before it goes into the admin.
- 01
New customer accounts first
B2B on Shopify runs on new customer accounts, so they go live before anything else. If the store still uses classic accounts, we plan the switch so retail customers aren’t surprised at their next login.
- 02
Companies, locations and contacts
Each wholesale customer becomes a company, each branch or store a location with its own billing and shipping address, and each buyer a contact with a role. We import them from your ERP or spreadsheet instead of keying them in.
- 03
Catalogs per location
A catalog pairs a product selection with a price list: a percentage off retail, or fixed prices per variant. Catalogs are assigned to company locations, so two branches of one company can see different ranges at different prices.
- 04
Quantity rules and volume pricing
Minimums, maximums and order increments are set per variant in the price list, along with price breaks for larger quantities. We make the theme show them on the product page and in the cart, so buyers get the quantity right before checkout.
- 05
Payment terms, deposits and order review
Net terms, a deposit at checkout, or pay in full: chosen per location. Locations that need a review step check out to a draft order, so your team confirms stock and freight before the order is final.
- 06
Tax IDs and exemptions
Tax registration IDs and exemptions are stored on each company location, so an exempt reseller isn’t charged tax at checkout and nothing changes for retail customers.
- 07
A storefront that knows who is signed in
Wholesale prices, ranges and quantity rules apply once a buyer signs in and chooses the location they’re ordering for. Retail visitors see the normal store, and a buyer who orders for several locations switches between them.
- 08
Draft orders and invoices for your sales team
Orders that still arrive by phone or email go through Shopify too: your team builds a draft order for the company location, with its prices and terms applied, and sends the invoice from the admin.

FAQs
Can Shopify Plus replace my legacy B2B platform?
For most brands, yes. Plus's native B2B (rebuilt and significantly improved in 2024–2025) handles wholesale pricing, locked catalogs, company hierarchies, and net terms natively. It's not Salesforce CPQ, but for 80% of wholesale brands, it's enough.
Do I need separate B2B and DTC stores?
Usually no. Shopify Plus supports both on a single store with proper buyer-group setup. Separate stores only make sense when the brand positioning genuinely differs (e.g. a wholesale-only sub-brand).
What about EDI integrations for big-box retailers?
We've integrated Shopify with EDI providers for brands selling into Target, Walmart, and similar. This is custom app work, scoped separately.
