Aqsa Shahzad Official is a Shopify Select Partner that designs, builds and grows Shopify and Shopify Plus stores for US brands, and the studio in Johar Town, Lahore, is hiring. The roles below are the ones open today; each has its own page with the work, the requirements and the application form.
Two things are true of every role: the work is real — live stores, named clients, numbers you can see — and it is onsite. We would rather be clear about that on this page than in an interview.
The work is live US commerce
Shopify Plus builds, headless storefronts, B2B, retention and CRO for American DTC and B2B brands. The store you work on goes live, and you see its numbers afterwards.

Shopify Developer
You build the storefronts the studio ships: custom Liquid themes written from scratch, Shopify Plus features (checkout extensibility, Functions, Flow, B2B) and migrations that keep a brand’s rankings. The stores are live US businesses, and you see their numbers after launch.

Senior Full-Stack Engineer
You lead the builds that go beyond the theme: headless storefronts on Hydrogen or Next.js against the Storefront API, custom Shopify apps, and the integrations that connect a store to an ERP, a POS or a booking system. You own architecture decisions and review other engineers’ work.

CRO Specialist
You run the conversion programme on client stores: research, hypotheses, prioritised experiments and the analysis that says what actually happened. You work with the engineers who implement the tests and present results to US clients in writing every month.

SEO Specialist
You own organic search for client stores and for the studio’s own site: technical audits, migrations that keep rankings, content briefs that answer real queries, structured data and internal linking. Results are measured in Search Console, not in reports about reports.

GEO Specialist
You make brands visible where search is moving: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. That means measuring citations, structuring content and data so answer engines can quote it, and running the studio’s AI-visibility audits for clients. A new discipline; you will help define how the studio does it.

Product Designer (UI/UX)
You design the storefronts the engineers build: homepage, collection, product and checkout flows for US DTC and B2B brands, in Figma, with the design system that makes them buildable. Conversion is a design input here, not a later review.

Retention Marketing Specialist
You own the second order: email and SMS flows in Klaviyo, Postscript or Attentive, segmentation, loyalty and subscription programmes for US Shopify brands, built on the store’s own events rather than app defaults, and measured in repeat revenue.

The task, reviewed together
Two to three hours of work, then a 30-minute review where you walk us through your decisions. We are hiring for judgement as much as output.
Onsite interview in Johar Town
An hour at the studio with the founder and the lead you would work with: the work, the hours, the clients, your questions.

Questions applicants ask.
Are any of the roles remote or hybrid?
No. Every role on this page is full-time and onsite at the studio in Johar Town, Lahore. The work is collaborative — pairing, reviews, design critiques — and we have chosen to do it in one room. If you are looking for remote work, this is not the right studio, and we would rather say so here than in an interview.
Can I book a call to discuss a role?
No. The Cal.com booking link on this site is for client projects, and bookings made by applicants are cancelled without review. Apply through the form; every application receives a written update within five working days, and the conversation starts from there.
How long until I hear back?
Five working days for the first written reply, whether or not you are shortlisted. Shortlisted candidates receive a short practical task, then an onsite interview, then a written offer. The whole process usually takes two to three weeks.
What are the working hours?
Full-time, Monday to Friday, onsite. Because the clients are in the United States, part of each day overlaps US business hours; the exact hours for each role are discussed at the interview and written into the offer.
Do you hire people early in their career?
Each role states the experience it needs. Where a role says two or more years, that is the level the work requires; where you are close and the practical task shows you can do the work, apply and say so in your note. We do not run internships at present.
What should I include in the application?
A CV, a link to your work (a store, a repository, a portfolio, a report you wrote), and a short note on why this role. A link to something you built says more than a paragraph about yourself. Applications without any link to real work are rarely shortlisted.
