Open role · Onsite · Johar Town, Lahore
GEO Specialist, onsite in Johar Town, Lahore: generative engine optimisation: visibility in AI search and assistants.
You make brands visible where search is moving: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. That means measuring citations, structuring content and data so answer engines can quote it, and running the studio’s AI-visibility audits for clients. A new discipline; you will help define how the studio does it.

About the role
GEO Specialist at a Shopify Select Partner, onsite in Lahore.
Full-time · Growth · reports to the founder.
The studio already ships agentic-commerce work and runs a free AI-visibility audit; this role turns that into a repeatable practice. You will track how often brands and their competitors are cited across answer engines, find the pages and data that earn citations, and work with the SEO specialist and the engineers to change what the site says and how it is structured.
Because the field is new, part of the job is writing down what works: the studio publishes its methods, and your findings become guides that rank in their own right.
What you will do
The work, week to week.
Six things this role owns. The proportions shift with the projects; the standard does not.
- 01
Measure AI visibility
Prompt sets per client, citation tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and AI Overviews, competitor share of voice, monthly.
- 02
Shape citable content
Entity-rich pages, direct answers, comparison tables, FAQs and llms.txt files that assistants can read and quote.
- 03
Structured data and feeds
Organization, Product, FAQ and dataset schema; product feeds and Shopify’s agentic-commerce surfaces.
- 04
Run the audits
The free AI-visibility audit for prospects and the paid version for clients, written to a standard you help set.
- 05
Test and document
Small experiments on what earns a citation, written up as internal guides and public articles.
- 06
Work with SEO and engineering
One roadmap per client across classic search and AI search, implemented by the same team.
What you bring
What we look for, and what is a bonus.
Show us the work rather than telling us about it: a link beats a paragraph.
- 01
One to three years in SEO, content strategy or digital PR
With a genuine, demonstrable interest in how LLM-based search selects and cites sources.
- 02
Analytical habit
You design a prompt set, run it consistently, and report change honestly — including when nothing moved.
- 03
Strong writing
Clear, structured, factual copy; you can draft an FAQ or a comparison table that an assistant would quote.
- 04
Technical literacy
Schema.org, HTML structure, robots and llms.txt; comfortable reading a page’s source.
- 05
Curiosity with discipline
The field changes monthly; you keep up and separate evidence from hype.
Nice to have: Python for prompt automation · experience with Shopify or ecommerce brands · published writing on SEO or AI search · basic API work (OpenAI, Perplexity, Gemini).

Shortlisted or not, you hear back in writing. Shortlisted candidates receive a short, role-specific task on realistic material.
