Product Designer (UI/UX), onsite in Johar Town, Lahore: Shopify storefronts designed in Figma, built pixel-for-pixel.

You design the storefronts the engineers build: homepage, collection, product and checkout flows for US DTC and B2B brands, in Figma, with the design system that makes them buildable. Conversion is a design input here, not a later review.

About the role

Product Designer (UI/UX) at a Shopify Select Partner, onsite in Lahore.

Full-time · Design · reports to the founder.

Every store the studio ships is designed before it is built, and built exactly as designed — the Figma-to-Shopify work is a service in its own right. This role owns that design: research and flows, high-fidelity UI, the component library, and the hand-off to engineers who will hold you to the pixel.

You will work with the CRO specialist on what the data says about a page, with clients on what their brand needs to say, and with the engineers on what Shopify can do. Designers here present their own work to clients.

What you will do

The work, week to week.

Six things this role owns. The proportions shift with the projects; the standard does not.

  1. Design storefronts end to end

Homepage, collection, PDP, cart and checkout flows, from wireframe to high-fidelity UI in Figma.

  2. Build and keep a design system

Tokens, components, variants and documentation that make a store consistent and fast to extend.

  3. Design for conversion and speed

Hierarchy, copy placement, image strategy and interaction that help a page convert and load quickly on a phone.

  4. Prepare hand-off

Specs, states, responsive behaviour and assets ready for a developer who will build it exactly.

  5. Present to clients

Walk US founders and marketing leads through the design and the reasons behind it.

  6. Support the studio’s own brand

Case-study visuals, storefront mockups and occasional marketing pages.

What you bring

What we look for, and what is a bonus.

Show us the work rather than telling us about it: a link beats a paragraph.

  1. Three or more years designing ecommerce interfaces

A portfolio with live Shopify (or comparable) stores and the reasoning behind the decisions.

  2. Figma mastery

Auto layout, variables, components and prototyping; you build systems, not just screens.

  3. Typography and layout craft

Your work shows hierarchy, rhythm and restraint; nothing on the page is there by default.

  4. Understanding of the build

Enough HTML/CSS and Shopify theme knowledge to design what can be built well.

  5. Presenting and writing

You can explain a design decision to a client in two sentences.

Nice to have: motion design (Lottie, Rive, GSAP) · brand identity work · accessibility testing · experience with headless storefronts.

How we hire

Five steps, each of them in writing.

Two to three weeks from application to offer.

  1. Apply through the portal

Ten minutes: CV, a link to your work, a short note on why this role. Every application is read by the person you would report to, not by a filter.

  2. Written reply within five working days

Shortlisted or not, you hear back in writing. Shortlisted candidates receive a short, role-specific task on realistic material.

  3. The task, reviewed together

Two to three hours of work, then a 30-minute review where you walk us through your decisions. We are hiring for judgement as much as output.

  4. Onsite interview in Johar Town

An hour at the studio with the founder and the lead you would work with: the work, the hours, the clients, your questions.

  5. Offer in writing

Role, compensation, working hours, probation and start date, all on one page before you decide.

Applications go through this portal only. Please do not book a call through the site’s Cal.com link: that calendar is for client projects, and a booking made by an applicant is cancelled without review. Send the form below; every application receives a written update by email within five working days, and shortlisted candidates are invited to the next step from there.
