Retention Marketing Specialist, onsite in Johar Town, Lahore: Klaviyo and Postscript flows built on the store’s own events.
You own the second order: email and SMS flows in Klaviyo, Postscript or Attentive, segmentation, loyalty and subscription programmes for US Shopify brands, built on the store’s own events rather than app defaults, and measured in repeat revenue.

About the role
Retention Marketing Specialist at a Shopify Select Partner, onsite in Lahore.
Full-time · Growth · reports to the founder.
Retention work at the studio is technical marketing: flows triggered by real store events, segments built on purchase data, loyalty and subscription mechanics wired into the theme, and reporting that ties every campaign to revenue. This role runs that for several client brands and works with the engineers who wire the events.
You will write and design emails and SMS, but the larger part of the job is the system behind them — who gets what, when, and why — and the monthly written report that tells a US client what it earned.
What you will do
The work, week to week.
Six things this role owns. The proportions shift with the projects; the standard does not.
- 01
Build and optimise flows
Welcome, browse and cart abandonment, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back and VIP, with the branching that fits each catalogue.
- 02
Segment on real data
Purchase history, predicted value, engagement and product affinity; suppression rules that protect deliverability.
- 03
Run campaigns
Calendar, copy, design in the brand’s system, A/B tests on subject lines, send times and offers.
- 04
Wire loyalty and subscriptions
Smile, Yotpo, Recharge and similar, integrated with the flows and the theme rather than bolted on.
- 05
Protect deliverability
Domain setup, warming, list hygiene and monitoring across email and SMS compliance (TCPA, CAN-SPAM).
- 06
Report on revenue
Attributed revenue, repeat rate, LTV movement; monthly, in writing, per client.
What you bring
What we look for, and what is a bonus.
Show us the work rather than telling us about it: a link beats a paragraph.
- 01
Two or more years in lifecycle or retention marketing
Klaviyo certified or equivalent hands-on depth; Postscript or Attentive a strong plus.
- 02
Data comfort
Segments, metrics and attribution windows; you can defend a number and spot one that is wrong.
- 03
Copy and design sense
You write emails people read and can work inside a brand’s design system.
- 04
Ecommerce understanding
Margins, AOV, replenishment cycles; you know why a flow should differ for a serum and for a dog fence.
- 05
Client-ready writing
Monthly reports and recommendations go straight to US founders.
Nice to have: SMS programme experience · HTML email coding · loyalty or subscription programme design · Shopify Flow.
How we hire
Five steps, each of them in writing.
Two to three weeks from application to offer.
- 01
Apply through the portal
Ten minutes: CV, a link to your work, a short note on why this role. Every application is read by the person you would report to, not by a filter.
- 02
Written reply within five working days
Shortlisted or not, you hear back in writing. Shortlisted candidates receive a short, role-specific task on realistic material.
- 03
The task, reviewed together
Two to three hours of work, then a 30-minute review where you walk us through your decisions. We are hiring for judgement as much as output.
- 04
Onsite interview in Johar Town
An hour at the studio with the founder and the lead you would work with: the work, the hours, the clients, your questions.
- 05
Offer in writing
Role, compensation, working hours, probation and start date, all on one page before you decide.
