Best Shopify Plus Agencies for Supplement and Wellness Brands (2026): 7 Compared on Their Own Case Studies

Seven Shopify Plus agencies that name supplement and wellness clients on their own sites, with published results and the claim rules a store must follow.

Supplement brands ask more of a Shopify store than most categories. Revenue rests on subscriptions that have to survive a platform move, every product claim carries regulatory weight, and some products cannot be sold to everyone or through every payment processor. This list is the Shopify Plus agencies that name supplement, nutrition and wellness clients on their own sites, checked on 7 October 2026, with the results they publish and where those results come from. Our own agency sits at the top, marked as ours, and what we say about each of the others is taken from its own website.

Key takeaways

  • For a supplement brand that lives on reorders, start with our team, Aqsa Shahzad Official: retention work on a Shopify Plus store we built added 27% to True Glory Hair’s repeat purchases, though no supplement case study of ours is published yet.
  • Seven agencies below name supplement or wellness clients on their own sites; six publish a number tied to one. The strongest documented work comes from XgenTech (Cellucor), Swanky (Symprove), Craftberry (Innermost) and Sunny Road (L’Evate You).
  • The supplement-specific questions are claims, subscriptions and payments: who checks the wording before it ships, how live subscribers move, and what happens if a payment processor declines the category.

The agencies

Aqsa Shahzad Official: USA (our agency)

Best for: supplement and wellness brands whose margin depends on the reorder, that want the Shopify Plus store, the subscription programme and the replenishment email handled by one senior team, with the price written down before work begins.

Subscription and repeat-order proof:

  • 27% more repeat purchases at True Glory Hair, a US wig and hair brand on a Shopify Plus store we built, where retention runs through Attentive and we have stayed on as its team for three years. The full case study
  • Organic search traffic up 63% for CocoLash, which sells DIY lash extensions and which we took from an empty store to a Subscribe & Save programme, with Shopify POS and the website selling from one catalogue. The full case study
  • 1.3 s largest contentful paint for KIF Smart Refill, whose Figma design we turned into a custom theme with a template for refill subscription bundles and a delivery schedule the brand can change. The full case study

What carries over to supplements: subscriptions on Recharge, Skio, Loop or Shopify Subscriptions, replenishment and win-back flows, and migrations that carry live subscribers across with their payment methods and renewal dates; the FDA disclaimer placed in every template that makes a claim; a second payment gateway ready in case a processor turns the category down; and age checks where state law requires them. None of the figures above is from a supplement brand; they come from hair, lash and refill stores.

Budget: a new store or a move onto Shopify Plus is quoted between $40,000 and $100,000, and a Plus build with integrations between $100,000 and $200,000, always as a single written number before you commit (our packages; scope on the Shopify Plus development page). Book a call and bring your subscriber numbers.

XgenTech: New York

Best for: sports-nutrition and supplement brands that want a faster store with more subscription sign-ups, and a published price range before the first call.

Founded in 2012 and describing itself as “a certified Shopify Partner agency” on its supplements page, XgenTech names Cellucor and C4 Energy, Transparent Labs, Trace Minerals, Jacked Factory and NBPure. Its Cellucor case study reports 80% faster page loads, a 36% revenue increase and 49% more subscription sign-ups. It is also one of two agencies here that publish prices: builds typically $10,000 to $75,000 and more, and retainers from $2,500 a month. Its pages describe its partner status in more than one way, so ask which tier it holds today. xgentech.net

Swanky: UK and Australia

Best for: UK and Australian wellness brands moving to Shopify with Recharge subscriptions.

Founded in 2010 and recognised, in its words, “as a ‘Shopify Platinum Partner’ in 2025”, with Symprove, FutureYou Cambridge, Huel and Nelsons among its wellness clients. For Symprove’s UK store it reports a 42% increase in revenue and 36% more transactions in the six weeks after launch, compared with the six weeks before. FutureYou Cambridge, which moved to Shopify with Recharge subscriptions, is quoted on the case study saying the migration “eliminated 95% of our technical debt”. swankyagency.com

Craftberry: Varna, Bulgaria

Best for: wellness brands chasing higher order values and more returning customers, with migration and CRO prices published.

A “certified Shopify Premier Partner” founded in 2015, with a dedicated health and wellness page naming Innermost, ArthroFill, FitSpo Nutrition and Midi Health’s supplement line. Its Innermost case study reports a 68% increase in average order value and a 40% returning-customer rate; Midi Health’s supplement store is reported at a 3% conversion rate from launch. Craftberry publishes prices too: CRO retainers from about $3,500 a month and migrations from $15,000. craftberry.co

Sunny Road: San Diego, New York and Florida

Best for: wellness brands planning a high-volume launch with a US Premier Partner.

“We are Shopify Premier Partners,” says Sunny Road, formed from two earlier agencies and naming L’Evate You, Clean Simple Eats, mindbodygreen and Kind Patches among its wellness work. Its L’Evate You page reports $7.6 million in revenue from 74,000 orders in the first month after launch, Clean Simple Eats a 23% rise in sales over 90 days, and Kind Patches a 41% increase in add-to-cart actions. No founding year is stated. sunnyroad.co

Eastside Co: London and New York

Best for: collagen and supplement brands that want organic search growth alongside a Shopify Plus store.

Founded in 2012 and, by its own account, one of the first UK agencies accredited for Shopify Plus; its pages describe its current partner tier in more than one way, so ask. Its supplement work is Absolute Collagen, where it reports organic revenue up 39%, organic transactions up 47% and organic conversion rate up 35% within three months. Those are search results from an SEO retainer running alongside a new Shopify Plus store, so ask who built the store itself. eastsideco.com

Avex Designs: New York

Best for: wellness brands that want personalised product recommendations and CRO testing on an existing store.

A self-described “NYC-Based Shopify Platinum Agency Partner” whose wellness clients include Nutrex Hawaii and Bonafide Health. For Bonafide it lists Q2 2025 results including $153,000 in direct revenue from personalised product recommendations and $13,500 in incremental revenue from CRO testing. Its only published pricing is a 2016 blog post, so treat it as out of date. avexdesigns.com

PIVOT: Mission Viejo, California

Best for: supplement brands selling both direct and B2B; ask for results and prices, as none are published.

Founded in 2017, a self-described “Shopify Plus Agency Partner” for DTC and B2B brands, with Bulletproof (Bulletproof Greens) as its named supplement client. It publishes no results or prices for that work, so ask for both. pivotmade.com

What makes a supplement store different

These are the rules a supplement store’s build has to respect. They are summaries with their sources, not legal advice; have your own counsel review your claims.

  • The FDA disclaimer. A structure/function claim (“supports joint health”) must carry the statement set out in 21 CFR 101.93(c)(1): “This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.” The FDA must also be notified of the claim within 30 days of first marketing it. Source
  • Evidence for every health claim. The FTC expects health claims to be backed by “competent and reliable scientific evidence”, and reviews or influencer content shown on the store count as claims too. Source
  • Subscribe-and-save rules. Under the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act, a recurring charge needs the customer’s express informed consent first and a simple way to stop it. Source
  • Payment processing. Shopify Payments lists products “that make health claims that are not verified by a local or national regulatory body” among prohibited businesses, so a brand with aggressive claims can need a third-party gateway. Source
  • Age limits. New York bars selling over-the-counter weight-loss and muscle-building supplements to anyone under 18, which means age checks and proof of age on delivery for those products. Source

What to ask a supplement agency

  • Who checks claim wording before it ships? Product pages, quiz results, bundle pages and email templates all carry claims. Ask how the disclaimer and structure/function wording are handled across every template, and who signs it off.
  • How will our live subscribers move? Ask which subscription apps the agency has migrated supplement subscribers between, how payment methods and renewal dates stay intact, and how cancellation is built to meet consent and cancellation rules.
  • What is the plan for riskier products? A backup payment gateway if a processor declines the category, age checks where the law requires them, and lot and expiry tracking on every order.
  • Is the number from a build, or from marketing? Several results above come from SEO, recommendations or CRO rather than the store build. Both matter; they tell you different things.
