Zenoti integrations are documented in two places. The Integrations section of the Zenoti Help Center holds 23 articles, covering Shopify, accounting software, payment gateways, hotel systems, class marketplaces and front desk devices. The developer site, docs.zenoti.com, covers the API and webhooks for anything that is not on that list. Zenoti’s marketing site has no integrations directory: zenoti.com/integrations sends you to the homepage.
We read every article and docs page used here on 1 November 2026. This post groups the integrations by the job they do, notes what each one requires, and shows where a Shopify store fits for a salon, spa or wellness business that runs its bookings in Zenoti.
Key takeaways
- Shopify is the only online retail connection in Zenoti’s Help Center. Zenoti’s own Help Center says that to enable retail sales on Webstore V2, you must integrate Shopify.
- Card payments run through Zenoti Payments in the US, Canada, the UK, Singapore and Hong Kong, with other named gateways in Australia, New Zealand, India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
- Accounting Integration v2 supports Xero and QuickBooks Online, with sales posted per invoice or as a daily summary.
- Zapier links Zenoti to other apps with 32 trigger events and 7 actions, and needs an active Zenoti API and Webhooks subscription.
- The Zenoti API accepts an API key or an access token, and its documented standard rate limit is 60 calls per minute, with higher limits sold as an add-on.

Website and online retail: where Shopify fits
Zenoti Webstore V2 handles appointments, provider choice, memberships, gift cards and packages online. Physical products are the exception: the Help Center’s Webstore V2 guide notes that retail sales need the Shopify integration, so a Zenoti business that wants to sell shampoo, skincare or tools online does it through a Shopify store.
The setup has five requirements. Each product’s SKU in Shopify must match its product code in Zenoti, one Zenoti center is chosen to receive Shopify orders and stock levels (an existing center can be used), the store needs an active Shopify plan and a payment gateway, Zenoti supplies the API key and secret, and every guest should sign in with a unique email address. If one email belongs to several Zenoti profiles, the invoice lands on one of them at random.
Once connected, each Shopify purchase lowers stock in Zenoti, creates an invoice on the guest’s profile, and updates the daily sales and product sales reports. Discounts and promotions carry across. Stock changes made inside Zenoti do not flow to Shopify on their own: the Help Center says to sign in to Shopify and sync the inventory level by hand.
The Shopify plan changes one thing. On Shopify Plus, guests sign in through the Zenoti Webstore and are passed to Shopify already logged in, using Shopify’s Multipass key. On other plans that single sign-on is not available, and buyers use Shopify’s guest checkout.
Zenoti names five gaps: no product exchanges, no product variants, no Zenoti gift cards at Shopify checkout, no pickup at the salon, and no shipping or tracking data in Zenoti. A refund is issued from Shopify, and Zenoti reflects it afterwards. For orders from marketplaces connected to Shopify, such as Ulta or Amazon, that arrive without the buyer’s details, a newer feature called Marketplace Order Mapping assigns each marketplace’s orders to one dedicated guest profile so sales reports stay accurate.
Payments and pay-later options
Zenoti Payments is the gateway in the US, Canada, the UK, Singapore and Hong Kong, and the Help Center lists BBPOS and Verifone P400, P400 Plus, V400m and E285 terminals for it. Other countries use named gateways: Payment Express, Zenoti Payments and Ezypay in Australia; Payment Express and Ezypay in New Zealand; JusPay and Plutus (Pine Labs) in India; QNB in Qatar; Checkout.com in the UAE; and eGHL in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Buy now, pay later runs inside Zenoti Payments. On Adyen the providers are Klarna and Sunbit; on Stripe they are Klarna, Affirm and Afterpay. Affirm covers the US and Canada, while Afterpay (Clearpay in the UK) and Klarna cover the US, Canada, Australia, the UK and New Zealand.
Accounting
Accounting Integration v2 connects Zenoti to Xero or QuickBooks Online at the organization level. You pick one of four sync types: an invoice in the accounting platform for every Zenoti invoice, the same posted as journal entries, one summarized invoice per day, or a daily summary as a journal entry. Payment, tax-rate and item mappings come next, and data can be synced by hand or on a schedule, which Zenoti Support sets up. A multi-location toggle sends location details across.
Automation: Zapier, the API and webhooks
Zapier is the documented route to apps that Zenoti does not connect to directly. Its 32 trigger events cover appointments, class bookings and schedules, guests, guest memberships, employees, invoice closure, and room and employee blockouts. Its 7 actions create a guest, an opportunity or an employee in Zenoti, or look up a guest by details or ID, with the option to create one when nothing matches. Zenoti’s examples include Gmail, Slack, Google Sheets, Google Calendar and Mailchimp, and turning Facebook lead form entries into Zenoti opportunities. Centers can build their own Zaps without brand-level permissions, and some Zapier features, such as Facebook Lead Ads, need a Zapier Premium plan.
For custom work, docs.zenoti.com offers two kinds of authentication. An API key, created at the organization level under Admin, Setup, Apps, works across all APIs and does not expire, which suits a server talking to Zenoti. Access tokens come from a user’s login, limit access to that user’s role, and expire after 24 hours, which suits apps built for guests or therapists. The standard rate limit is 60 calls per minute; Zenoti’s account managers offer add-ons for higher volume.
Webhooks push events to your system instead of making it poll. The event reference covers invoices, guests, class bookings, guest memberships, appointments and employees. The docs also include step-by-step recipes for booking a service, selling a product, a membership or a gift card, and creating an opportunity.
Hotels, resorts and fitness channels
Spas inside hotels can post charges to a guest’s room. The Oracle Opera on-premise integration works with Opera 5.0.04.03 and later, supports both Posting Manager and Posting Interface room posting, and can post products, services, packages, gift cards and memberships. CME is a second room-charge option, set up for a whole organization or one center. Both need a custom payment method in Zenoti, such as “Charge Room”.
ClassPass and BILT Rewards send class bookings into Zenoti and create a guest record when the booker is new. Both are limited to classes: neither books services or appointments, cancellations happen only in the partner’s app, and the partner handles payment, so Zenoti records each booking with a zero price.
Staff sign-in, data transfer and devices
Staff can sign in to Zenoti through Azure AD or Okta, both using SAML single sign-on. For bulk data, Zenoti offers SFTP on Amazon S3, opened through your Zenoti relationship manager, authenticated with SSH keys rather than passwords, and keeping files for 30 days. At the front desk, Zenoti supports Topaz signature pads in Google Chrome and QR code scanners. SmartKart, listed in the same section, is Zenoti’s own tool for suggesting products, memberships and packages at POS and on the Webstore.
What this means for a Shopify build
A Zenoti business that sells products online therefore runs two storefronts: the Webstore for bookings, memberships and gift cards, and Shopify for products. The build covers linking the two so visitors move between them, matching every SKU to its Zenoti product code, working around the missing variant and pickup support, deciding how stock changes made in Zenoti reach Shopify given that sync is manual, and choosing between Plus single sign-on and guest checkout.
Gene Juarez, which runs 13 salon and spa locations in Washington, books into Zenoti from a fully editable Shopify Plus theme. Its case study records a booking flow under one second and a 1,200 ms LCP. Disclosure: Gene Juarez is a client, and we designed its Shopify Plus theme and built the Zenoti booking connection. Read the Gene Juarez case study for how it was built.
