CRO Specialist, onsite in Johar Town, Lahore: experiments and analytics that move conversion on live stores.
You run the conversion programme on client stores: research, hypotheses, prioritised experiments and the analysis that says what actually happened. You work with the engineers who implement the tests and present results to US clients in writing every month.

About the role
CRO Specialist at a Shopify Select Partner, onsite in Lahore.
Full-time · Growth · reports to the founder.
Conversion work at the studio is run as experiments on the client’s own traffic, not as a checklist of “best practices”. This role owns that programme across several stores: the research that finds the friction (analytics, session replay, checkout data, surveys), the hypotheses, the test designs, and the readouts that decide what ships.
You will also be the person who says when a test cannot be read — too little traffic, a broken variant, a season that skewed it — because the clients trust the numbers we give them.
What you will do
The work, week to week.
Six things this role owns. The proportions shift with the projects; the standard does not.
- 01
Find the friction
GA4, Shopify analytics, heatmaps and session replay, checkout funnel data; turn them into a ranked list of problems with evidence.
- 02
Write hypotheses and test plans
Clear variants, success metrics, sample-size and duration estimates before a test starts.
- 03
Run experiments
A/B and multivariate tests on PDPs, collections, cart and checkout; coordinate implementation with the engineers and QA the variants yourself.
- 04
Analyse and report
Statistical read-outs in plain English, a monthly written report per client, and a running log of what was learned.
- 05
Feed the build team
Winning patterns become theme defaults; you document them so every new build starts ahead.
- 06
Own the free audit
The studio’s free CRO audit is written by this team; you will write several a week.
What you bring
What we look for, and what is a bonus.
Show us the work rather than telling us about it: a link beats a paragraph.
- 01
Two or more years running experiments on ecommerce sites
Ideally Shopify; you can show tests you designed, what they found, and one that failed and why.
- 02
Analytics fluency
GA4 and Shopify reports without a tutorial; comfortable with a spreadsheet and basic statistics (power, significance, uplift intervals).
- 03
UX judgement
You can explain why a page does not convert and sketch a variant that might, without waiting for a designer.
- 04
Tooling
Hotjar or Clarity, a testing platform (Convert, VWO, Optimizely or Shopify’s own), and a passing familiarity with Liquid so you can read a theme.
- 05
Writing for clients
Monthly reports go to US founders and marketing leads; they must be short, honest and specific.
Nice to have: SQL · Klaviyo or email experimentation · a CXL or similar certification · experience on Shopify Plus checkout extensibility.
How we hire
Five steps, each of them in writing.
Two to three weeks from application to offer.
- 01
Apply through the portal
Ten minutes: CV, a link to your work, a short note on why this role. Every application is read by the person you would report to, not by a filter.
- 02
Written reply within five working days
Shortlisted or not, you hear back in writing. Shortlisted candidates receive a short, role-specific task on realistic material.
- 03
The task, reviewed together
Two to three hours of work, then a 30-minute review where you walk us through your decisions. We are hiring for judgement as much as output.
- 04
Onsite interview in Johar Town
An hour at the studio with the founder and the lead you would work with: the work, the hours, the clients, your questions.
- 05
Offer in writing
Role, compensation, working hours, probation and start date, all on one page before you decide.
