Search “Shopify Plus agency Austin”, “Dallas” or “Houston” and page one is full of agencies with a Texas city in the URL. We checked every one of them on 26 September 2026, on their own contact pages, for a Texas address. The result is the most useful thing this guide can tell you: with one exception, none of the Shopify Plus specialists ranking for Texas has an office in Texas. They are New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Montreal agencies with landing pages — and one of them says so on the page itself.
That is not a reason to avoid them. Plus builds are remote work and several of these agencies are excellent. It is a reason to stop choosing on the city in the URL and start choosing on the four things that decide a Texas project: hours of overlap with Central time, experience with the wholesale and B2B channels that a large share of Texas brands run, integrations with the DFW and Houston logistics corridor, and a scope you can read before you pay. We serve Texas remotely too, and we are held to the same rule below.
Key takeaways
- Of the agencies ranking for Texas Shopify Plus searches, one prints an Austin address and it is a general marketing agency, not a Plus specialist. Every Plus specialist on page one serves Texas from another state.
- Solo Media Group’s own Dallas page answers “Do you have an office in Dallas?” with “No” and explains how the remote arrangement works. That is the honest version of what every other city page is doing.
- Choose on Central-time overlap, B2B experience and integrations, then get the scope and the price in writing. Our published ranges are $50,000 to $100,000 for a build and $100,000 to $200,000 with integrations; the pricing guide explains what moves the number.
The one with a Texas address
Fahrenheit Marketing — Austin
Fahrenheit Marketing prints an Austin, TX address on its contact page and dates itself to 2008. It is a full-service digital marketing agency with a Shopify service page rather than a Shopify Plus specialist: the clients it names are financial advisers, law firms, dental practices and local businesses. If you want an Austin team in the room for marketing and a store build together, it is the local option; if you want engineers who only do Plus, keep reading. fahrenheitmarketing.com
Plus specialists that serve Texas from elsewhere
Netalico — New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, Columbus
Netalico ranks for Austin, Dallas and Houston with a Plus development page for each; its contact page lists six offices, none in Texas. Founded 2013, it states Shopify Plus Premier Partner status and names GoTags, Mijenta Tequila, Flying Ostrich and Mellow among its clients. The most established Plus-only option on this search. netalico.com
Conspire — Los Angeles
Conspire’s Texas city pages sit on a Los Angeles agency (its structured data lists an LA address and California cities served), founded 2011, stating Shopify Plus Partner status. Named clients: Cousins Maine Lobster, Simms Fishing Products, Tillamook Country Smoker, Nature’s Answer, Portola Paints, Zia Tile — food, outdoor and building products, which is a closer fit to many Texas brands than most portfolios. conspireagency.com
Makro — Montreal and Miami
Makro’s Austin page offers replatforms, B2B and DTC builds and ERP integrations; its About page places the agency in Montreal and Miami. It states Shopify Plus Partner status and writes case studies with a number attached (360 Cookware, +134% revenue; Bio-K+; Matt & Nat; Clarius). The B2B and ERP emphasis is the relevant part for Texas wholesale brands. makroagency.com
Barrel — New York
Barrel has an Austin market page; the agency is in New York, founded 2009, a stated Shopify Platinum Partner, and its client list is CPG through and through — McCormick & Company, The Outset, Sweet Loren’s, Once Upon A Farm, OneSkin, Waterloo, Kite Hill. For a Texas food or beverage brand with grocery distribution next to DTC, that is the profile to compare against. barrelny.com
Shero Commerce — Red Hook, New York
Shero ranks for Houston with a development-agency page; its office is Red Hook, NY, founded 2010, stating Shopify Premier Partner status. Its clients run stores and catalogues at once — Regal Cinemas, Sarris Candies, STX, Vienna Beef, Alto Music — and its Plus page leads with complex integrations. sherocommerce.com
Solo Media Group — New York, Los Angeles, Miami
Solo Media Group’s Dallas page is the honest one on this search: it says the agency has no Dallas office, that its offices are New York, Miami and Los Angeles, and that Dallas brands get a dedicated senior contact remotely. It describes itself as a Shopify Platinum agency and names Wonder Paws and Aspen Publishing in its case studies. solomediagroup.com
Digital Heroes — remote, Central-time availability
Digital Heroes’ Austin page pitches creator, music-merch and DTC brands and says the agency works remotely with Central-time availability; its contact page lists no Texas address. It states Shopify Plus Partner and Premier Partner status and dates itself to 2017. The case studies on the pages we checked are described by method rather than by client name, so ask for the names. digitalheroesco.com
Aqsa Shahzad Official — Sheridan, Wyoming and Lahore
No Texas office either. What we have is a Texas practice — the Texas hub with pages for Plus development and the other services — calls scheduled around Central time, and a model that is different in structure rather than in geography: the senior engineer who scopes your build writes it, the scope and price are fixed in writing first, and the prices are published. The closest analogues in our work for Texas brands are the B2B and wholesale builds and Gene Juarez, a Shopify Plus store with an integrated booking system. Our full scope is on the Shopify Plus development page.
What Texas brands should ask that other brands don’t
- Wholesale is not a phase two. A large share of Texas DTC brands — western wear, outdoor, food, home — sell through retailers and distributors as well as online. Ask the agency which B2B builds it has shipped on Shopify Plus, and whether price lists, net terms and company accounts were native Plus B2B or a bolted-on app. Our B2B commerce page describes the native route.
- Logistics through DFW and Houston. Ask which warehouse and 3PL systems the agency has connected to Plus, and how it has handled split inventory between a Texas warehouse and a coastal one.
- Central-time coverage in writing. Every agency on this page will say it covers your hours. Ask for the overlap in hours and who answers a P1 at 4 pm Central on a Friday, and get it into the scope document.

Shortlist three from the specialists, ignore the city in the URL, and run the 14 questions on all three — question 3 (where is the team and what hours do I get) is the one this page exists for. The 12-agency comparison covers the national picture; the Florida guide is the one state where several specialists do have an office.
