Shopify agency
Shopify agency in the USA for brands on Shopify and Shopify Plus: senior engineers, scoped in writing.
Aqsa Shahzad Official is a Shopify agency and Shopify Select Partner — since March 2022, 5.0 in the Partner Directory — that designs, builds, migrates and grows stores for DTC and B2B brands. The engineer who scopes your project is the one who builds it, the price is fixed before work starts, and every number on this page can be checked somewhere we do not control.

Who hires a Shopify agency like this one
Four kinds of brand, one kind of problem: the theme store ran out.
If your store is on Shopify or Shopify Plus and the next step needs an engineer rather than another app, this is the right page.
A Shopify agency is hired at a particular moment: the store works, the brand is growing, and the next thing it needs is not in the theme editor or the App Store. Sometimes that moment is a rebuild — the theme has been patched by four freelancers and every campaign page takes a developer. Sometimes it is a migration, because the Magento or WooCommerce bill has become a second rent. Sometimes it is a system that has to talk to the store: an ERP, a POS, a booking platform, a subscription engine. The four situations below cover most of the briefs that reach us, and each one links to the page where that work is scoped in detail.
What they share is the shape of the answer: a senior engineer who reads the store before quoting, a scope written down with a fixed number, and a build that leaves you owning the code. That is the difference between a Shopify agency and a Shopify vendor, and it is the reason this page exists.
- 01
DTC brands past the template
Beauty, hair, pet, jewelry and apparel brands whose theme has been customised past the point of safety: every change breaks two others, page speed is an app away from red, and the next campaign needs a section the theme cannot draw. We rebuild on clean Liquid you own, or go headless, and keep the rankings on the way over.
Shopify Plus development - 02
B2B and wholesale on Plus
Distributors and manufacturers adding trade accounts, company price lists, net terms, quantity rules and rep-placed orders on Shopify Plus B2B, usually beside a DTC storefront that has to keep running while the wholesale side is built.
B2B and wholesale - 03
Retail with stores, POS and an ERP
Retailers whose POS or ERP must stay the source of truth: nightly catalogue sync, see-price-in-cart for MAP products, local inventory by store, financing, protection plans and delivery by ZIP. The retail modules are already built; the integration is the project.
Shopify for retail stores - 04
Service commerce and booking
Salons, spas and clinics on Zenoti or another booking system that want booking inside the Shopify checkout rather than a link out of it, with retail products and gift cards in the same cart. The Gene Juarez build is the reference.

The second order and the third. Conversion work run as experiments on your own traffic, retention flows built on the store's events in Klaviyo, Postscript or Attentive, loyalty and subscriptions wired into the cart rather than bolted on, Core Web Vitals fixed in the theme instead of with another app, and search and AI visibility handled by the people who built the pages.

The builds most Shopify agencies decline: B2B price lists and net terms on Plus, Markets and duties for international expansion, booking inside checkout for Zenoti salons, jewelry catalogues with configurators and certificates, Amazon sellers moving to a store of their own, and storefronts that shopping agents can read.
Checkable proof
Four places to verify this Shopify agency that are not this website.
Tier, ratings and reviews live where we cannot edit them; the four numbers underneath are the ones we are held to.

Since March 2022
a Shopify Partner, Select tier, with the tier recalculated by Shopify every quarter and shown in the directory rather than claimed here.
- 02
400+ stores
shipped across builds, migrations and rebuilds — the number on the homepage, the about page and Clutch is the same number.
- 03
92% of retainers renew
because the engineer who built the store is the one who stays on it; the retainer tiers are published on the retainers page.
- 04
12-hour written reply
to every brief sent through the contact page, from a senior engineer, not a sales inbox.

Every budget, one standard
From a $1,500-a-month retainer to a full Shopify Plus build, the same engineers.
Four ways an engagement starts. None of them begins with a rate card; all of them begin with someone reading your store.
A Shopify agency that only takes six-figure builds turns away most of the brands that need one. A store doing its first million needs the same things a Plus brand does — a senior engineer who reads the theme before touching it, a scope in writing, a fix that stays fixed — at a size it can carry. So the door here is a monthly retainer from $1,500, and the road from there to a full build is the same team, not a hand-off.
- 01
A retainer, from $1,500 a month
A senior Shopify engineer on your store every month: fixes, speed, small features, the experiments that move conversion, and someone who answers in writing within twelve hours. The entry point for a store that needs an agency's standard without an agency-sized project, and the way most long relationships here begin.
The retainers - 02
A fixed-scope project
One defined piece of work — a theme rebuild, a migration with its redirect map, an integration, a B2B set-up — scoped in writing with one number and a launch date before anything is billed. Sized to the store, not to a rate card.
The services - 03
A Shopify Plus build
The full build for brands that have outgrown the template: custom theme or headless storefront, the systems around it, a weekly build review and thirty days of defect support after launch. The scope document is the contract.
Shopify Plus development - 04
An audit first, free
Not sure which door? The free CRO audit and the store speed test read your store before anyone proposes anything, and the written answer says whether you need a retainer, a project or a build — or nothing yet.
Request the free audit
Every engagement, whatever its size, gets the same senior engineer, the same written scope and the same twelve-hour reply. Brands that want to see how a larger build is priced can read the Shopify Plus packages page or what Shopify Plus agencies charge.
How to choose a Shopify agency
Six questions that separate a Shopify agency from a badge.
The long version is our 14-question hiring guide; these are the six that decide it.
Every Shopify agency on the first page of Google says it is senior, certified and results-driven, and every one of them has a logo wall. None of that helps you choose. What does is a short set of questions whose answers can be checked: a name, a document, a link that leaves the agency's own website. Ask them of us as well — the founder's note, the packages page, the case studies and the Partner Directory are where our answers live.
- 01
Who is actually on the call?
Ask for the name of the engineer who will write your theme, and whether that person is in the sales call. Here it is the same person, and the founder's note explains why the studio is built that way.
The founder's note - 02
Is the scope and the price in writing before work starts?
A fixed number with the inclusions listed is the only price anyone can be held to. Hourly estimates move; "from" prices move further. Here every project comes back as one figure in writing, whatever its size, before anything is billed.
The packages - 03
Can the proof be checked outside the agency's own site?
Directory ratings, Clutch reviews, and case studies that name the brand and print a number. A wall of logos with no link is not proof; neither is a testimonial with a first name.
The case studies - 04
What does the tier badge actually measure?
Shopify's partner tiers are earned on commercial activity — revenue moved to and kept on Shopify — and recalculated every quarter. A badge says how much revenue an agency moves, not how it builds. Read it, then ask the questions above.
What the badges mean - 05
What happens on day 31?
Thirty days of defect support, then either a named retainer with a written scope or nothing. Ask which, and ask what the retainer costs before you sign the build.
The retainers - 06
What are the red flags?
A premium theme underneath a "custom" build, juniors billed as seniors, an app installed where code belonged, no redirect map on a migration, no staging store, no written scope. Nine of them, with what to ask instead.
The nine red flags
The long version is how to hire a Shopify Plus development agency: 14 questions, with a scoring sheet, and 12 Shopify Plus development agencies compared on the same questions — us included, on the same terms.
Where we work
A US Shopify agency with engineers in two time zones.
Registered in Wyoming, building from Lahore, answering in your business hours.
"Shopify agency near me" is a real search and a poor filter. Most Shopify work is remote by nature — the store, the theme and the data live in Shopify, not in an office — and the agencies that rank for city terms are, like us, working across the country from one or two bases. What matters locally is the tax and shipping logic a build has to respect, the peak seasons it has to be ready for, and whether someone answers during your business hours.
Aqsa Shahzad Official LLC is registered in Sheridan, Wyoming, with engineering in Lahore, so a US brand gets a Shopify agency that answers in its own business hours and a build that keeps moving overnight. Most clients are in the United States; calls are scheduled in your time zone, every commitment is written down, and the store's data never leaves Shopify's own infrastructure.
The state pages below carry the local facts that change a build — sales-tax rules, seasonal peaks, the metros a brand ships from — with the same service scope on every one of them. If you are looking for a Shopify agency for a specific vertical, the jewelry, retail and headless pages go deeper than this one.
Questions brands ask a Shopify agency before the first call.
Are you a Shopify agency or a Shopify Plus agency?
Both, and the distinction is smaller than the badges suggest. We build on Shopify and on Shopify Plus; the Plus work — checkout extensibility, B2B, Markets, Functions — is where most of our larger builds sit, but a growing brand on standard Shopify gets the same engineers and the same written scope. If you are not sure which plan you need, the Shopify Plus page works it out from your numbers.
Are you a Shopify Partner, and what tier?
Yes. Aqsa Shahzad Official LLC has been a Shopify Partner since March 2022, currently at the Select tier, listed as a service partner in the Shopify Partner Directory with a 5.0 rating from client reviews. Shopify recalculates tiers every quarter on commercial activity, so the directory, not this page, is the place to check any agency's current tier — including ours.
What does a Shopify agency cost?
It depends on the door you come through. A monthly retainer here starts at $1,500 and gives you a senior engineer on the store every month; a fixed-scope project or a Shopify Plus build is priced as one written number after the store has been read, sized to the catalogue and the integrations rather than to a rate card. The market runs from a few thousand dollars for a theme customisation to well past $250,000 for enterprise builds; what Shopify Plus agencies charge maps those bands, and the packages page shows how our larger builds are scoped.
How long does a Shopify build take?
The four-week private-label launch is exactly that: custom theme, ten products, live in four weeks. A Shopify Plus build runs eight to fourteen weeks depending on integrations; a migration adds the time it takes to reconcile customers, orders and redirects; headless builds start at sixteen weeks. Every timeline is in the written scope, with a weekly build review you can watch.
Who will actually build my store?
A senior Shopify engineer with seven or more years on the platform — the same person who scoped the project and sat in the first call. There are no juniors billed as seniors and no hand-off to a production team after the sale. You get the engineer's name in the proposal.
Can you take over a store another agency built?
Yes, and it is a large part of the work. It starts with an audit rather than a rebuild: the free CRO audit, the store speed test and a theme review tell us whether the store needs a retainer, a partial rebuild or a new build. You get that answer in writing before anyone proposes a price.
Do you do design, or only development?
Both. UX and UI design is done in Figma by designers who work with the engineers building the theme, and Figma to Shopify builds a theme pixel-for-pixel from a design you already have. KIF, above, is one of those.
Do you handle marketing after launch?
The parts that live in the store, yes: conversion experiments, retention flows in Klaviyo, Postscript or Attentive, loyalty and subscriptions, speed, and search and AI visibility. Paid media we do not run; we make sure the store converts the traffic someone else buys, and we work alongside the agency that buys it.
Do you work with brands outside the United States?
Most clients are in the US and the company is registered there, but the work is remote and the calls are scheduled in your time zone. Brands in Canada, the UK and Europe are on the client list; international expansion for US brands — Markets, duties, local payment methods — is one of the specialisms above.
How do I start?
Send the brief through the contact page: what the store runs on, what is not working, and when you need it by. A senior engineer replies in writing within twelve hours; then a 30-minute call, then a written scope with a fixed number. Nothing is billed before you have that in hand.
