Few categories stretch a Shopify store as far as furniture and homeware. A sofa ships by freight on a booked date while its cushions go by parcel; a sectional comes in modules, depths and fabrics that a plain variant grid cannot express; buyers want to see a swatch, picture the piece in their room and spread a four-figure payment; and many brands also sell to designers and trade buyers at their own prices. The agencies below were chosen because each names furniture, homeware or kitchenware clients on its own site (we went through those sites on 10 October 2026), and results appear only where the agency itself publishes them. Agencies come from America, Britain and Australia. We put our own agency first and label it; for every other agency, the facts come from its own website.
The short answer
What is the best Shopify agency for a furniture or homeware brand? The one whose portfolio matches your hardest problem. If you want a senior Shopify Plus team on one written, fixed price, with published results such as repeat purchases up 27% for True Glory Hair, start with us, Aqsa Shahzad Official. For configurable furniture and trade programmes in the US, Domaine has the strongest home portfolio we found, including Arhaus with a 3D sectional configurator. For UK homeware, We Make Websites reports conversion up 234% for Borough Kitchen and order values up 38% for Alessi, and Swanky reports revenue up 295% for the interiors retailer Olivia’s. In Australia, Process Creative reports total sales up 242% for MCM House.
Key takeaways
- Ten agencies made the list: three are American, five British and two Australian, and Swanky adds a team in South Australia. Six publish a result for a home client.
- The questions that separate them are logistical: freight rates beside parcel rates, delivery dates captured at checkout, configurable products, fabric swatches and finance on large baskets.
- Trade selling matters in this category. Domaine (Industry West, SUNPAN) and Clear (Holloways of Ludlow) have built trade or wholesale stores for furniture brands; ask the others to show one.
US agencies
Aqsa Shahzad Official — USA (our agency)
Best for: furniture and home brands that want one senior team to build their store on Shopify Plus, or move it there, at a fixed price agreed in writing, and then keep growing it.
Results we publish:
- Repeat purchase rate up 27% at True Glory Hair, a wig brand whose Shopify Plus store we built and have run for three years, with retention on Attentive. Read the case study
- Homepage content drawn in 1.2 seconds, and under a second to booking at Gene Juarez, a 13-location salon group on a custom Shopify Plus theme wired to Zenoti. Read the case study
- Organic traffic up 63% at CocoLash, a beauty store we launched from zero and have developed for three years. Read the case study
What it means for a furniture store: freight and parcel rates side by side, a delivery date captured at checkout with a checkout extension, trade accounts with their own price lists on Shopify Plus B2B, and swatches and filters driven by structured product data. The numbers above come from beauty and salon builds; we have not published a furniture case study yet.
Price: one written figure before any work starts, usually $40,000–$100,000 for a launch or a move from another platform and $100,000–$200,000 when a Plus build carries integrations (packages and timelines). Book a call to get yours.
Domaine — Los Angeles and New York
Best for: large US furniture brands that need 3D configurators and login-only trade stores.
The deepest furniture and home portfolio on this search, with five named brands under its own furniture and home tag. Arhaus moved from a custom platform to Shopify Plus with shop-the-room editorial and a 3D sectional configurator, and average order value rose 24%; Industry West’s direct and trade store lifted order value 20% and new trade accounts 10%; Floyd’s sectionals are assembled from separate products on one page; Hunter Douglas prices made-to-measure blinds through its own pricing engine; and the wholesaler SUNPAN runs regional login-only trade stores with 3D product views. Its site names no Shopify partner tier. domaineworldwide.com
Netalico — New York
Best for: bedding and decor brands leaving Magento that want a Shopify Plus Premier partner.
States Shopify Plus Premier Partner status consistently and runs a home-goods page. Its bedding client Sheets & Giggles got a navigation overhaul and product filters that start from bed size, and the wall-mural brand Limitless Walls moved from Magento to Shopify Plus with products generated on demand from a large image library and priced by size. Neither case publishes a result. netalico.com
Black & Black Creative — New York and San Francisco
Best for: premium design brands with heavy integrations, such as Salesforce, and international stores.
One furniture client, and a demanding one: USM Modular Furniture’s US store, moved from a legacy platform to Shopify Plus with a Salesforce integration and international setup, then supported and refreshed. No published result and no partner tier on its own pages. blackandblackcreative.com
UK agencies
Swanky — Exeter, with a team in South Australia
Best for: UK interiors retailers with very large catalogues, and brands selling in both the UK and Australia.
A Shopify Platinum Partner since 2025, by its own account, and the only firm here with a UK base and an Australian team. It rebuilt the interiors retailer Olivia’s, with more than 14,000 homeware products, on Shopify Plus for mobile first and reports revenue up 295%; upgraded the Danish furniture brand OMHU’s theme and new markets, with sales up 84% year on year; and moved the B Corp mattress maker Naturalmat and the furniture retailer Fishpools to Shopify Plus, the latter with an ERP integration. swankyagency.com
We Make Websites — London and New York
Best for: kitchenware and homeware brands replatforming from Magento into several markets at once.
A Shopify partner since 2011, now part of BORN and Tech Mahindra, with two kitchenware replatforms worth reading. Alessi moved from Magento 1 to Shopify Plus with Shopify Markets and a back-office integration, and average order value rose 38%; the London cookware retailer Borough Kitchen made the same move and conversion rose 234%. wemakewebsites.com
Clear — Shrewsbury and Birmingham
Best for: retailers with showrooms that need a gated trade storefront and quote-to-order workflow.
A Shopify Plus partner, no tier stated, that also builds on Magento and WordPress. Its home case is the most complete trade example on this list: Holloways of Ludlow, a designer lighting and furniture retailer with seven showrooms, moved from Magento to Shopify Plus with a gated trade storefront, reporting order value up 71.2%, conversion up 73% and quotes turned into orders twice as fast. cleardesign.co.uk
Underwaterpistol — London
Best for: luxury furniture retailers that want the rebrand, the build and the email programme from one agency.
A Shopify Plus partner with a luxury furniture result: soon after Arighi Bianchi moved to Shopify Plus, the agency rebranded, redesigned and rebuilt its store and ran its email, reporting conversion up 54% and online revenue up 44%. It also migrated Furncare, which supplies furniture to the care sector, to Shopify with an ERP link and trade ordering. underwaterpistol.com
Charle — London
Best for: flooring and outdoor-furniture retailers that need configurators, price calculators or a show-home finder.
A Shopify Plus accredited agency with two home builds and no published results: the Dublin carpets, flooring and beds retailer Des Kelly Interiors, moved from WooCommerce with product configurators and price calculators, and the outdoor luxury furniture retailer Harbour Lifestyle, with product comparison, a show-home finder and an assembly service matched to the buyer’s location. charle.co.uk
Australian agencies
Process Creative — Sydney
Best for: Australian furniture brands that sell through lifestyle content and cross-selling.
Calls itself one of Australia’s leading Shopify Plus partners and publishes the strongest Australian furniture result: MCM House, an indoor and outdoor furniture brand, rebuilt on Shopify Plus around lifestyle content and cross-selling, with total sales up 242%, conversion up 47% and order value up 35%. processcreative.com.au
10SQ — Melbourne
Best for: brands leaving a composable or headless stack that want to be back on Shopify quickly.
A small senior team, by its own description, best known here for moving the furniture brand Koala back to Shopify from a composable stack in ninety days, a project it tags as Shopify Plus. No published result and no partner tier on its own pages. 10sq.dev
What a furniture store needs from Shopify
- Freight beside parcels. Bulky pieces need their own rates through shipping profiles, or one flat table either loses money on sofas or overcharges for cushions.
- A booked delivery date. Two-person delivery is scheduled, not dispatched; capturing the date on the rate itself uses a checkout extension, which is a Shopify Plus capability.
- Swatches from real data. Fabric and finish should come from structured option data, not hand-made images, so filters and swatches stay in step.
- Configurations beyond a grid. Sectionals and modular ranges can group separate products into one listing with combined listings, each keeping its own stock and SKU.
- Scale before purchase. 3D and AR product media answers the main doubt on a large piece: will it fit.
- Finance for big baskets. Shop Pay Installments covers large US and UK orders but not Australia, so Australian stores need another option.
Selling furniture in the US, the UK and Australia
- United States. Mattresses carry federal flammability standards and a certificate of conformity, dressers and chests must meet the STURDY tip-over rule, and Shop Pay Installments reaches orders of up to $30,000.
- United Kingdom. Upholstered furniture, beds and mattresses fall under the furniture fire-safety regulations, where the seller is responsible for correct labelling (the October 2025 amendment removed the display-label requirement, so older advice is out of date). Prices must include VAT.
- Australia. Consumer prices must show one GST-inclusive total, though trade-only stores may show prices excluding GST, and the toppling-furniture standard requires tip-over warnings online as well as in store.
Questions to put to a furniture agency
- How does a sofa and a cushion ship in one order? Ask to see freight and parcel rates working together at checkout.
- Where does the delivery date get booked? Ask whether the customer chooses a slot at checkout, and how that reaches the delivery partner.
- Show me a configurable product. Ask for a live sectional or made-to-measure item and how its stock and pricing are held.
- Do you build for trade? Ask for a logged-in trade store with its own prices, quotes and terms.
- Whose number is that? For each published result, ask what was measured, over which dates, and what the agency itself changed.

Choosing
Narrow to the agencies whose clients sell what you sell, then ask each the five questions above and set their written answers side by side. For agencies outside furniture there is our general comparison, the guide to hiring has more questions to ask, and our Shopify Plus development services explain how we scope and price.
