Best Shopify Plus Agencies for Retailers with Physical Stores (2026): 10 Compared on Their Own Case Studies

Ten Shopify Plus agencies in the US, UK, Australia and Canada that name store-based retail clients on their own sites, with the POS rollouts they publish.

For a retailer with shops, the online store is only half the job. The other half is the till: one stock figure across every location, orders that ship from whichever store holds the item, click-and-collect that knows what is on the shelf, returns accepted anywhere, and staff who can sell a product the shop does not hold. Shopify Point of Sale makes that possible; making it work across fifty or a hundred stores is what retailers hire an agency for. Each firm below names store-based retail clients on its own website, read on 10 October 2026, and each published figure comes from that firm’s own pages. The list covers the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada, where much of the strongest store work sits. We include our own agency, placed first and marked as such; the facts on every other firm come from its own site.

The short answer

Who should build Shopify for a retailer with physical stores? Whoever has rolled out stores of your size and kind. For a retailer with a few locations that wants one senior team on a fixed written price, start with us: the thirteen Gene Juarez salons take bookings in under a second from their Shopify Plus store. For a large US chain, CQL implemented Shopify POS for Magnolia and brought Simon Pearce’s thirteen stores, website and wholesale onto one Shopify foundation. In the UK, Visualsoft is the clearest POS specialist, with a Shopify POS migration for the Glasgow streetwear retailer Fat Buddha. In Australia, Make Retail moved 121 Nutrition Warehouse stores to Shopify POS in three months. And in Canada, Molsoft publishes the strongest numbers of all, for Bentley’s 125-plus stores.

Key takeaways

  • Ten agencies qualify. Four are in Australia, and the US, the UK and Canada have two each. The largest rollouts named run from 121 to more than 1,500 stores.
  • Read the results carefully. Several headline numbers are site-wide figures after a replatform, not store or point-of-sale results, so ask which channel each figure measures.
  • Store retail splits into two skills: the storefront and the point-of-sale rollout. Two Melbourne firms on this list, Make Retail and Convert Digital, share an address and split exactly that work on joint projects.

United States

Aqsa Shahzad Official — USA (our agency)

Best for: retailers with a handful of shops and a busy website that want the online store, Shopify POS and the booking or delivery tools built and run by one senior team, at a price set in writing.

What our clients’ numbers show:

  • Booking reached in under a second from any landing page at Gene Juarez, whose 13 salons and spas sell retail products and book services through one Shopify Plus store tied to Zenoti, with a 1,200 ms homepage LCP. See how
  • One catalogue at the counter and online for CocoLash, which sells through Shopify POS and its website from the same product data, with organic traffic up 63%. See how
  • Repeat purchases up 27% at True Glory Hair, the Shopify Plus store we built and still run, with retention on Attentive. See how

For a store-led retailer: Shopify POS with one stock figure across locations, ERP sync, click-and-collect, delivery and installation by ZIP code, financing and protection plans, all set out on our Shopify for retail stores page. We have not yet published a multi-store POS rollout; the largest estate we serve is Gene Juarez’s thirteen locations, which book through Zenoti rather than Shopify POS.

Fees: one figure, in writing, before you pay: $40,000–$100,000 to launch or replatform, and $100,000–$200,000 once ERP and POS integrations are part of a Plus build (packages). Book a call to talk through your stores.

CQL — Chicago

Best for: large US chains rolling out Shopify POS alongside wholesale and the website.

Calls itself a Shopify Plus Platinum Partner and, in 2025, took over a Shopify point-of-sale specialist to deepen its store work. It implemented Shopify POS beside the online store for Magnolia’s retail, pop-up and event teams and reports doubling point-of-sale capacity overnight for a large event; it moved Simon Pearce, with thirteen stores and around four hundred wholesale accounts, onto one Shopify setup with real-time inventory and an end to its till outages; and for the ALDO Group, with more than 1,500 stores, it rebuilt the online stack on Shopify across three brands, reporting conversion up more than 20% in the first two months. cqlcorp.com

Verbal+Visual — New York and London

Best for: fashion and lifestyle labels moving US stores and the website off Magento together.

A Shopify Plus partner since 2014, no tier stated, focused on fashion and lifestyle chains. Its A.P.C. project moved the label’s US stores from Magento to Shopify Plus with Shopify POS, shared inventory, multi-location fulfilment and buy online, pick up in store; Carhartt WIP’s North American online and store channels moved to Shopify Plus too. The published gains (A.P.C. revenue up 26%, Carhartt WIP conversion up 25%) are site-wide results after migration, not store metrics. vpv.co

United Kingdom

Visualsoft — Stockton, Manchester and Newcastle

Best for: UK high-street retailers that want a POS specialist and quick store go-lives.

A stated Shopify Platinum Partner that presents itself as a unified-retail agency for high-street and multi-location brands, and runs its own retail innovation space in Farringdon. Its House of SportsShoes flagship in Shoreditch went live on Shopify POS in just under three weeks, with staff able to sell from more than 90,000 online lines, although that retailer’s website runs on another platform. The complete example is Fat Buddha in Glasgow, moved in March 2026 to Shopify and Shopify POS together, with tens of thousands of variants migrated. visualsoft.co.uk

IDHL — Leeds and New York

Best for: UK brands opening shops in the US that need one order and customer record across both.

Calls itself a Shopify Platinum Partner and belongs to a wider digital group that also builds on other platforms. Its retail case is the one to read if you are a UK brand opening in America: it built Hotel Chocolat’s US Shopify Plus store in six weeks, in time for Valentine’s Day, and set up Shopify POS on iPad so the American shops and the website share one order and customer record. idhlagency.com

Australia

The Working Party — Melbourne

Best for: large Australian chains that need loyalty and ERP links across dozens of stores.

One of four Shopify Platinum Partners in Asia-Pacific, by its own account, with the deepest store-chain client list in Australia. It put Shopify POS into Deus Ex Machina’s five flagship “Temples”; built SHEIKE’s loyalty programme across more than fifty stores, linking its ERP, Shopify and Klaviyo, which reached 230,000 members within a year; and moved JB Hi-Fi’s online channel to Shopify Plus, after which the retailer had its best Black Friday weekend on nearly double the previous year’s traffic. theworkingparty.com.au

Make Retail — Melbourne

Best for: chains where the hard part is the shops: POS rollouts, staff training and new-store setup.

Not a storefront agency but a point-of-sale rollout specialist, and the most useful firm here if the hard part is the shops. It moved 121 Nutrition Warehouse stores across Australia and New Zealand onto Shopify POS in three months and trained 600 staff; brought 110 Ghanda stores onto Shopify POS, cutting the setup for each new store from a day to two hours; and reports no outages since go-live at the five Hardy Brothers jewellery stores. It states no Shopify partner tier. makeretail.com.au

Convert Digital — Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane

Best for: Australian retailers that need the storefront built alongside a separate POS partner.

A stated Shopify Platinum Partner and the storefront half of several of Make Retail’s projects; the two publish the same street address. It built Ghanda’s headless Shopify Plus site in 2021 and still works on its omnichannel setup (the client is quoted on daily orders rising about 300%), runs the site of the nineteen-store chocolatier Koko Black alongside its separate till system, and connected Superdry Australia’s ERP with click-and-collect. convertdigital.com.au

Pipelabs — West Melbourne

Best for: multi-brand retailers whose stock and pricing live in an ERP such as Pronto or Apparel21.

Listed as a Shopify Plus partner without a stated tier, this one leads with integration: a headless Shopify Plus platform tied to the Pronto ERP and shared across three music retailers in the Soundbay group, Manny’s Music among them, with real-time product, price and stock sync between stores and online; and GANT Australia’s Shopify launch connected to the Apparel21 ERP and its till system. pipelabs.com.au

Canada

Molsoft — Montreal

Best for: Canadian chains that want published store-rollout results and a Microsoft Dynamics link.

A Shopify Platinum Partner by its own description, with a retail point-of-sale practice and the strongest published store-rollout numbers we found: Shopify POS across Bentley’s 125-plus luggage stores, connected to Microsoft Dynamics, with revenue up 129% year on year; and the home and garden retailer Trévi left Magento for Shopify Plus and put 35 Shopify POS terminals into nine stores, reporting revenue up 162% and conversion up 47%. Both clients are Canadian, and it lists no US, UK or Australian office. molsoft.io

Diff — Canada

Best for: retailers that need custom order routing across stores and a warehouse.

A stated Shopify Platinum Partner, now part of VML. For the outerwear brand Rudsak it built a custom order-management layer over Shopify, Shopify POS and Microsoft Dynamics that routes orders across 23 stores and a warehouse, reporting delayed orders down 53%. It also moved Giant Tiger, with more than 270 locations, from Magento to Shopify with in-store pickup, and DAVIDsTEA to Shopify Plus with Shopify POS. diffagency.com
