Shopify Theme for Salons on Zenoti: Solarium for Salon Groups, Spas, Barbershops and Clinics

Solarium, our Shopify theme for salons, spas, barbershops and clinics on Zenoti: Book links per location and service, location pages and expert pages.

Solarium is a Shopify theme we built for salon groups, spas, barbershops, clinics and lash studios that take bookings in Zenoti. The Zenoti details live in the theme’s settings, so every Book button on the site opens the right Zenoti page for that location, service, membership or package. It comes with five presets: salon, barbershop, spa, clinic and lash.

We sell Solarium together with our setup service. This page lists what the theme does, what it leaves to Zenoti, and what setup covers. The theme’s own site and its documentation are at asofficialllc.com/themes/solarium.

Key takeaways

  • Zenoti booking is a theme setting. You enter the booking host and a default center once, and Solarium builds Book links for each center, service, service category, membership, series package, day package and the gift card page.
  • Each location page holds that branch’s hours, amenities, holiday notice, gallery, service menu and nearby locations.
  • Experts get their own pages and a directory with filters, and price tables can show a column for each stylist level.
  • In our mobile Lighthouse tests on 26 October 2026, all 75 runs scored 100 for accessibility and 100 for SEO.
  • We estimate that building the same features as a custom theme would cost around $50,000. Our full setup on Solarium comes in under $50,000.

What Solarium does

Booking on Zenoti

The Booking group in the theme settings holds five values: the Zenoti booking host, the default center, the label on Book buttons, whether booking opens in a new tab, and the gift card link. From those, the theme writes links into the Zenoti webstore for a center, a single service, a service category, a membership, a series package, a day package or gift cards. When a Book button has no location of its own, a picker opens first and asks the guest which location they want.

Location pages

Every branch gets a page with its hours, amenities, a holiday notice, a photo gallery, its own service menu and links to the nearest other locations. The mega menu can list the locations as entries of their own.

Service menus and price tables

Service index and category pages group treatments into menus, with the duration, price and a Book button on each row, shown as a collapsible or an open list. Price tables take up to four columns, for stylist levels, member prices or fill intervals, with one column highlighted. A price matrix sets services against stylist levels, and a printed-menu style with dotted leaders is included.

Expert pages

Stylists, barbers and therapists are managed as products in a collection, so the team can be edited in bulk, imported from a CSV file and extended with metafields. The theme builds a directory with filters from them and gives each expert a page with their own Book button.

Memberships and gift cards

Memberships sold in Shopify use selling plans, and the plan’s name shows on the cart line. A gift card band links to the gift card page of your Zenoti webstore, set once in the theme settings.

Before and after

Drag-to-compare image pairs show treatment results, with a results disclaimer built into the section.

Five presets

The salon, barbershop, spa, clinic and lash presets are each a starting design for that kind of business. Every template is built from sections, so pages can be rearranged in the theme editor, and the theme supports app blocks, selling plans, Shop Pay Installments, pickup availability, and Shopify Markets for other languages and currencies.

What Solarium leaves to Zenoti

Solarium links into Zenoti; it does not connect to Zenoti’s API. The theme does not read live appointment availability and does not write bookings itself: the guest books on Zenoti’s own webstore pages, which Zenoti hosts and keeps up to date.

If you want open slots shown on your own pages, or retail stock kept in step between Shopify and Zenoti, that is integration work on top of the theme. Our guide to Zenoti integrations explains what Zenoti’s Shopify connection syncs, and our Zenoti Shopify integration service builds the parts a theme cannot.

Test results

We ran Lighthouse on mobile against 15 pages across the five preset demo stores on 26 October 2026, five runs per page, and took the median of each.

MeasureResult
Accessibility100 on all 75 runs
SEO100 on all 75 runs

What setup covers, and what it costs

We estimate that the features above, built from scratch as a custom Shopify theme, would cost around $50,000. With Solarium the theme already exists, so our setup work goes into your brand instead, and the full setup comes in under $50,000.

Setup means we choose and style the preset for your brand, enter your Zenoti booking host and each location’s center, build the location, service and expert pages, set up price tables, memberships and gift card links, and launch the store. Each brand gets one written quote before work starts.

Our team also built the custom Shopify Plus theme that Gene Juarez runs on Zenoti across 13 locations in Washington. That was a separate custom project, not Solarium, and its results are in the Gene Juarez case study. FAQ

What is Solarium?

Solarium is a Shopify theme built by Aqsa Shahzad Official for salon groups, spas, barbershops, clinics and lash studios that book in Zenoti. It keeps the Zenoti booking details in its theme settings and comes with five presets: salon, barbershop, spa, clinic and lash.

Does Solarium connect to Zenoti?

It links to Zenoti. From the booking host and center set in the theme settings, it builds Book links to the Zenoti webstore for each center, service, category, membership, package and gift card. It does not use Zenoti’s API, so it does not show live availability or create bookings itself.

Which businesses is Solarium built for?

Multi-location salon groups, spas, barbershops, clinics and lash studios that run their appointments in Zenoti. Each kind of business has its own preset, and every location gets its own page with hours, amenities, a service menu and its team.

How much does Solarium cost?

We sell Solarium together with our setup service. We estimate the same features built as a custom theme would cost around $50,000, and our full setup on Solarium comes in under $50,000, quoted in writing for each brand.

Can Solarium show live Zenoti availability on my site?

Not on its own. Solarium sends guests to Zenoti’s webstore to book. Showing open slots inside your own pages needs a custom build on the Zenoti API, which we can add as integration work on top of the theme.
