Best Shopify Plus Agencies for Beauty, Skincare and Hair Brands (2026): 9 Compared on Their Own Case Studies

Nine Shopify Plus agencies that name beauty, skincare or haircare clients on their own sites, with the results they publish and what to ask.

Beauty is the category Shopify Plus was practically built for — high repeat rates, subscriptions, shade and size variants, sampling, and a checkout that has to survive a launch-day spike — and it is the category where agency portfolios are easiest to check, because beauty brands are public about who built their stores. This list names only agencies whose own pages name beauty, skincare, haircare or fragrance clients, checked on 26 September 2026, with the results they publish. We are on it under the same rule.

Key takeaways

  • Nine agencies below name beauty clients on their own sites. One (CQL) publishes a conversion number for a skincare brand; most publish logos and project types without results. Ask for the number in the first call.
  • The beauty-specific questions are about repeat purchase, not launch: subscriptions, replenishment flows, shade finders and sampling. An agency that only shows you a homepage is showing you the easy half.
  • Only two agencies on this page print prices. Our beauty proof is a hair brand’s repeat purchases up 27% and a lash brand’s organic traffic up 63%, both with the numbers on the case-study pages.

The agencies

CQL — Chicago

Founded 1995, a stated Shopify Platinum Partner, with the longest beauty client list on this search: e.l.f. Beauty, ColourPop, Tarte Cosmetics, KEYS Soulcare, JLo Beauty, Well People, Kind Science, Meaningful Beauty, Saje and Makeup Geek among the Shopify brands it names, and a Paula’s Choice case study with a published result — a 53.6% increase in conversion rate, a 7.8% reduction in abandoned carts and a 62.5% decrease in abandoned checkouts. Enterprise scale and enterprise process. cqlcorp.com

wecanfly — Wrocław, Poland

A Shopify-only agency stating Shopify Premier Partner status, with a dedicated beauty page naming L’Occitane (migration to Shopify Plus), Glov (WooCommerce to Shopify), Bulk Homme, GYA Labs (Amazon to Shopify) and Phytoceutics as case studies, and Eveline Cosmetics, Cosmoss, Durex and Scholl among its logos; it claims “10+ stores for the cosmetic industry” and 200+ implementations. No published results per brand. The European option with the largest beauty portfolio. wecanflyagency.com

Netalico — New York and five other US offices

A stated Shopify Plus Premier Partner with a beauty-and-cosmetics page naming Silverist (haircare — a new build the page prices at “$19k flat rate build + pre-paid hours package”, one of the rare printed prices in this market), Evanhealy (skincare) and Petite n Pretty (cosmetics). No results published. netalico.com

Radiant — Birmingham, UK and Dubai

A stated Shopify Premier Partner, founded 2018, whose portfolio includes Tropic Skincare and KAYALI (fragrance) alongside Sillo and VOSS; a Pai Skincare testimonial sits on its jewellery page. UK-led, with a Dubai office for Gulf brands. byradiant.com

Eastside Co — London and New York

Founded 2012, a stated Shopify Platinum Partner, naming REN Skincare and Gold Collagen among a client list that also includes DJI, Cutler and Gross and F1 Authentics. Enterprise beauty with a Manhattan office for US brands. eastsideco.com

Barrel — New York

Founded 2009, a stated Shopify Platinum Partner, best known for CPG but naming OneSkin and The Outset — two skincare brands — in its case-study index alongside McCormick, Once Upon A Farm and Waterloo. If your beauty brand also sells through grocery or mass retail, this is the crossover profile. barrelny.com

Swanky — Exeter, UK

Founded 2010, a stated Shopify Platinum Partner, with Initio Parfums Privés (fragrance) and FutureYou Cambridge (supplements) in a design-led portfolio that also includes bond-eye swim and Eden Project. The fit for a fragrance or prestige brand selling into Europe and Australia. swankyagency.com

ConversionEX — Los Angeles and Miami

A Shopify and Klaviyo growth agency stating Shopify Partner status, whose case studies are published by category rather than brand — “premium skincare (DTC)” is the first of them — with a note on how it reports numbers. The choice if your beauty problem is retention rather than the build. conversionex.com

Craftberry — Varna, Bulgaria

Founded 2015, a stated Shopify Premier Partner, with a beauty article naming its Biotrade (dermocosmetics; migration and internationalisation, +12% average order value, “0% data loss”) and Doctor Mi (dermatologist-founded German skincare; bilingual custom storefront) projects. Note: Craftberry’s site mentions New York, but its own jewelry page places the agency in Varna, Bulgaria, which is the address we use here. craftberry.co

Aqsa Shahzad Official — Sheridan, Wyoming and Lahore

Beauty is where our published numbers come from. True Glory Hair: a Shopify Plus build grown for three years with Attentive retention and monthly SEO, repeat purchases up 27%. CocoLash: a lash storefront built from zero, ten styles on one content system, Subscribe & Save, organic traffic up 63%. OuchieCap: a custom theme and a sub-brand, revenue up 22%. The method is written up in Shopify CRO for hair and beauty brands; the prices are on the packages page; the scope on the Shopify Plus development page. No Manhattan office, and the engineer who scopes the build writes it.

What to ask a beauty agency

  • Show me the second order. A beauty store lives on replenishment. Ask for a live store where subscriptions, replenishment reminders and win-back flows are running, and what share of revenue is repeat.
  • Show me the shade finder. Variant-heavy catalogues break generic themes. Ask how the agency handles shade and size selection, swatches, samples and bundles on Plus.
  • What happened on launch day? A drop or an influencer moment is the stress test. Ask for a store that took a spike and what was done to the checkout beforehand.
  • What is the number? One agency on this page publishes a conversion result; the rest publish logos. Ask each for one beauty number and its source.
